6 Ways To Transform Your Event Space With Pipe & Drape !!
Pipe & Drape is the material used at Home Shows, Boat Shows, Camping Shows, and the like to create temporary walls. It is used to define vendor areas so nobody encroaches on anyone else’s area.
Pipe & Drape is used to create a Backdrop. It can be used on a temporary stage or a fixed stage in an auditorium.
Typically the drape would be set at anywhere from eight feet to fourteen feet high depending on the needs of the end user.
At a Corporate Event, a banner with the corporate logo can be hung from the Pipe & Drape to help Brand the event. The drape color can then be coordinated with corporate (or school) colors.
The backdrop can also match the carpet or skirt colors from the stage to create an awesome focal point for the audience.
2-Mask off areas of a Room:
If an area of the Event Space has a less than pleasant view or will distract the guests, Pipe & Drape can be used to “mask” the area, effectively making it disappear.
A good example of this is when an event is held in a gymnasium. To change the look of the room, Pipe & Drape is used to cover all or part of the walls to create a better appearance. Stored Gym equipment and Bleachers can easily be hidden this way.
For situations where privacy is a concern, Pipe & Drape can be used to block site lines so the general public will not be able to see into the space.
3-Make a Room appear Smaller:
4-Change the Room’s look:
When creating a theme event, Pipe & Drape can be used to line the walls of a Hotel’s Ballroom walls. A futuristic theme might use white, gray, or silver drape and splash colored up-lights on it to achieve the desired effect.
For a Halloween Event, black Pipe & Drape can be used to create a maze that guests can travel through allowing them to bump into the next scare around the corner.
5-Crowd Control:
Pipe & Drape can indicate where guests are allowed to go during an event. Use three-foot high drape to isolate an exhibit while still allowing plenty of viewing space.
When Food Service is located in the same space as the event, Pipe & Drape can create a Food Service Area. An offset chute can be created for wait staff to access the area while preventing guests from seeing in.
6-Other Uses:
Head Table Backdrop, Photographer’s Backdrop, Dressing Room, Testing areas, and Private Interview areas. There are endless ways Pipe & Drape can be used, limited only by your imagination. The variety of colors available makes it suitable for any season or any event.
